In a way Sonic Rush is the comeback. Though Sonic and the Secret Rings was the comeback on a next gen system, Sonic Unleashed looks great.

@Qkumber1 Were all bad. Sonic 1 through Sonic 3 & Knuckles were the only good ones. The addition of horrible voice actors, clunky controls, and absurd characters the player could never hope to connect with or have any feelings for (aside from Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and Robotnic) Make the new sonic games unbearable. Here's hoping Sonic 4 isn't a complete disappointment.
