I did 2 coats of the nyc white nail polish. I used bottled water and dropped in drops of black and white nail polish. I did this until I was left with a little dot in the middle when I stopped spreading as big. I used the tip of an orange wood stick to create a design in the water and dipped my nail in. let the polish around my nail dry and gather with the orange wood stick. Each nail will be different and that's what makes this nail art fun. If you try it make a video response so I can see your results as well. 

  • is there a special polish or water to use because i have failed miserably 10 times already.

  • @Twixbabii92 LOL no just regular polish and water. trust me this is the first time it has worked out for me. i think thinner polishes, or new bottles will work best. when its too thick it won't spread right. but like i said this is the first time it has worked for me to so im still learning

  • How long does it last ? And do you put a clear coat on after ?

  • @fynesse23 it last me until i take it off. i use the bullet proof for my base and top coat and it last until i take it off. I normally do my nails every week though

  • do u use a different water for every single nails,

  • @meliving oh no. if i had to i probably won't do it. LOL but its the same water for all my nails.

  • AMAZING!!! I never seen anything like it. WOW!

  • Really want to try this out,but just wondering whether you have to restart the whole process for each nail?

  • I have been doing my nails for years and can never get this to work, going to try this technique tomorrow, thanks

  • I've done marble many of times. I think that you should try to put vaseline around your fingers instead of the tape. Its worked better for me. If you put enough vaseline/petroleum jelly, you will be able to just use a paper towel or q-tip and wipe the excess off. No polish remove necessary.

  • I appreciate your theory on the thinner polish giving better results bc I 2 have tried & failed MANY MANy MAny times! Great vid! Presh8cha

  • great video! do you know what brand of polish works best because i have tried and failed too. what about polishes with glitter.

  • are these your real nails?

  • So awesome! I gotta try it!
