@bentley33333 Bro. Have you seen Feenix WoW? It's a private server, 1.12.1, and it's got like 1284 people online right now at 5:42 in the morning haha. I just /who'd. It's really gnarly, it's got 12x leveling, but blizzlike endgame. Working BG's, rep, quests, D2, and everything. It's the closest you could probably ever get to Vanilla without Blizz making their own Vanilla Server.

This video was first filmed back in 06/07, I doubt the devs of that addon still exist. There are far better alternatives out now.

Yeah seconding Scriptcraft being much better than Peenix.

SC doesn't run on a donations system where brown-nosing to the GMs gets you free epics. It's just a straight Vanilla WoW server with a tight community (last I checked numbers were 700 per faction). SC has barely been running for a month and already there are guilds on both sides clearing MC/Ony, I think an Alliance guild is halfway through BWL too.

@SpennyPwns I agree, a decent playerbase is required. Imo It's is kinda sad too see that these servers is prefered before completely blizzlikes. but hey, everything isn't as you want it to be ^^

@Mrfisteration The main problem with these remakes, is yes; they ARE more Blizzlike. But unfortunately, they don't have nearly the amount of players that Feenix does. Feenix has a LOT of players, making dungeon PUGS and raids possible. On the other remakes, the chances of doing either are abysmal. If only there was a 1x remake with the playerbase of Feenix'. Until then, I'll grin and bear the 12x rate.

@SpennyPwns Haha, Feenix isn't even close to vanilla. donate rewards and vote rewards etc. 12x leveling isn't vanilla either.... a BIG part of vanilla was the leveling and 12x eliminates that completely. sure everything is scripted like blizzard but thats about it. they've got som weird av marks. -.- Wtf?

Scriptcraft is SO much better then feenix. None of feenix's instances are scripted so its just the mobs. Mind control is broken. Razergore is different because they could not finish it. classes are buggy as hell. Everything is just half-assed. Scriptcraft fixxed all them (Owners an old dev)

just install them in different folders, or download it.

Works fine, I used to have both old wow 2.4.3 and 4.1.

But these days I only cba playing real wow, private servers is very usually about noobs and bugs and overpowered donation stuffs :c
