YouMove: Makabagong Gabriela (Part 2)

Vince Bosano and Karl Rosello from the Trinity University of Asia focused on women and migration for their project in the workshop, YouMove: Filipino Youth & Migration. Titled Makabagong Gabriela, the documentary featured two women one was an internal migrant and the other was a victim of trafficking. Both these women shared their experiences, the lessons they have learned and the decisions they had to make.

This project was produced through a workshop spearheaded by the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and Probe Media Foundation, Inc. (PMFI). Dubbed as YouMove: Filipino Youth & Migration, the programme provided opportunities for students in communication-related courses to increase their awareness and understanding of migration (regular and irregular) and produce creative outputs that focused on their chosen subjects.
