It may seem off point, but the marital stats presented at the start of the trailer are not even close to accurate. The highest rate of divorce in America 2009 was in a county in Indiana: 19%.
Marriage can be tough, even boring, so the movie might have something interesting to say, but predicating a theme on a commonly held myth is disappointing.

Thanks for the comment. The opinion of the character, or the film itself is not a scientific study. It is fiction. It is meant to emphasize the absurdity of the character's journey within the context of the story.
