Didn't post my response :( I, personally, think that Robert and Kate were into each other for the first couple of seasons. She was always finding ways to touch him that were at odd moments and she seemed to always stare at his mouth.

My opinion is that Robert B and Kate had a little something something during part of the run. If you watch a lot of the episodes in the first couple of seasons, she's always finding ways to touch him although it's at odd moments and she always watches his mouth.
