Differences is a wonderful song, such an A-ha song, such a Nobel song. A pray to GOD for PEACE. What a performance! Wish I was there. Amazing feeling!!!

I have been an ardent fan of them since 1985 ( or was it 1986)? They haven't changed much. Men don't age, do they?

This is a very emotional song, its beautifully performed. I have the C.D. version of this, and I love it, but this version with the orchestra included, is miles better. Has become one of my all time favourite songs from a-ha. Didnt even know "Differences" existed until viewing it on Youtube. Since then Im hooked on this song, cant get it out of my head. Pity actually it wasnt included on the "Lifelines" c.d., would have made a great addition to an already great album.

@MisterOldSchool1 in the swing of things says that he feels unconfortable if he is not capable to know how he sings, and in live 8 2005 among other equipment fail at their performance he couldnt hear his voice on the ear piece, so he started talking untill the sound troubles were solved

@MsAri73 It's not a prayer to God, since the writer of the song (Magne F) most likely is an atheist (and since God most likely do not exist). In an interview he actually stated that it was directed to the women of the world. He wrote it after having seen a documentary about the Talibans of Afghanistan (yep, religion is more a foe than friend in this song) and how the women were treated in that society.
