anyone know how to do that spin kick with ryu where you can go really high out of the corner? it makes alot of space like flying

Normal command grab wouldn't have helped him there either. Gief's Ultra is a zero frame grab. Only way it can beat the Ultra out if he enters the TT a split second before the Ultra I believe. But certainly not after.
