Joe: [smiles] thanks again guys for looking after Chloe and Reece
Selena: thats okay [kinda sad] let us know how the meeting goes
Demi: course [hugs Selena] stop worrying Sel

[With Demi and Joe in the Doc room]

Doctor: so Demetria how have you been feeling
Demi: good, I feel a lot happier and healthier
Doctor: okay so I have your results back I have good and bad news
Joe: what [squeezes Demis hand]
Doctor: [looks at Joe] erm well the cancer has been responding but im afraid it has spread
Demi: [worried] but it can be treated too right
Doctor: [shakes his head] im afraid not, its terminal you may only have weeks/months to live
Joe: [lets go of Demi hand and runs out]
Demi: [calls after Joe] dont leave me
Doctor: [helps her up] I am so sorry but I will need you to come to regular meetings once every 2 weeks
Demi: [hysterical after Joe just left her] uh

Joe POV:

I just had to get out of there, I couldnt look into her eyes and tell her everything was going to be okay because its not. I was losing her, we were all losing her and there was nothing anyone could do. What about Chloe, Reece they would have to grow up without a Mom. I could feel her crying, my heart felt like it was bleeding.

Joe: [walks back into Demis room] Baby im sorry I just couldnt take it [wraps himself around her]
Demi: [hysterically crying] dont ever leave me again
Joe: [strokes her hair] never Dems, never
Demi: [looks up at him] how am I gonna tell the others
Joe: [kisses her nose] when your ready Dem
Demi: [sighs] I wanna see Chloe and Reece
Joe: lets get you home [drives her to Selena and Nicks]

Sel: [opens the door] hey [smiling but then frowns when she shes Demi and Joes faces]
Joe: [helps Demi in the house as she is still clinging to him] we will explain later but firt she wants to see the kids
Sel: [moves out of the way] there in their room upstairs
Demi: [smiles at Chloe who is playing with Reece who is sitting in a rocker] hey princess
Chloe: [smiles] momma, you wanna play
Demi: sure [sits down next to Chloe] you been looking after Reece for mommy
Chloe: [nods] yeah but he dosent do much
Demi: [giggles and pulls Chloe onto her lap] hes only little but when hes bigger he can play properly
Chloe: really, like play dollies
Demi: [kisses her nose] sure, Chloe
Chloe: [looks at Demi] yes momma
Demi: [holds her tight] mommy needs you to look after Reece and Daddy for her whenever mommys not here, okay princess [strokes her cheek]
Chloe: [staring at Demi] like make sure they are being good and not naughty
Demi: [smiles] yeah like that [kisses her] okay I think aunt Sel has a surprise for you downstairs
Chloe: [gets up and runs out] yes [turns back around and pokes her head trough the door] love you momma
Demi: [turns] love you to Chlo [picks up Reece whos sleeping] my lil man [holds his finger] and I need you to look after Chloe for me, protect her and love her [stares at him] you look so much like your daddy [tears start to form in her eyes]
