You dont inscribe inalienable rights in a Constitution. Basically the way it works is, if Texas or any other state for that matter wanted to secede it would call a General Convention on the matter. At the General Convention the people of Texas by delegation would vote on the matter which is like writing a new Constitution. Only in this case they are voting to withdraw from the Federal Constitutional union, or simply proclaimed it no longer exist for their State.
IE: de-ratify.

Rick Perry it was never in the Texas Constitution that Texas could leave if it ever wanted to. Read it the constitution stupid! Remember the last governor the Texas Militia had to drag out of the governors mansion. Make my day, month, year and lets do it again Rick! Board yourself up and let the world watch the show 2010!

Perry your done, start looking for a new job! Im still proud of my state but hate the laughable dim-witted right that live here. If you want your own country get the hell out of mine! People are starting to identify TX as they have California in the past, a place where all the nuts grow! The TX majority aren't going to take it anymore. We know who you are and where you live!
