  • @AaronBaker12345 People whose lives have crashed from the onslaught of modern life. Now they experience life like the bombardments of war, and just want to find solace somewhere, even in futile dreams.

    It may be a comment on the times as well, modernism and capitalism leaving ruins all around.

    I like Jarmusch, but i first watched this film and Stranger than Paradise and thought they were boring, then on rewatching I'm seeing the meanings.

  • I love Jim Jarmusch movies,but what's the deal with the chinese bombing their house during the war?, their in New York? and not even in a time when any wars occured. Or is it like fictional or just something random put in the movie?
