This is an audio recording that was made on March 19, 1897 by Wilford Woodruff, fourth president of the LDS Church, at age 91, just one and a half years before his death. It is one of the oldest audio recordings ever made, using a "talking machine" or cylinder phonograph invented by Thomas Edison just two decades previously.
AMAZING! He has such faith in Joseph Smith. I was especially impressed by his many comments about the Jesus Christ.

By far the most important recorded testimony of Joseph Smith now in existence!

I lover hearing him speak. After reading his journal entries, it is great to hear his voice!

This has to be the most astounding youtube clips I've ever seen/heard! Many years ago I heard a portion of Pres. Woodruff's testimony but this is the first time I've heard the expanded version.
Just think! We're hearing the actual voice of someone who knew and bore testimony of the Prophet Joseph!
I am deeply moved. Thank you for sharing!

Wow. Very cool. How amazing will it be to one day meet these men and hear their voices in person.
