I'm a fan of both guys, but in this case Adam was right. The key here is that Adam's e-mails (two of them) were a call to action. Saying "call me" is a call to action. Saying "great" is not. I can't believe Kevin's reasoning is that he simply crossed his arms and said "why doesn't he call me?". The guy is extremely insecure. He went through a similar incident with Howard Stern. Kevin is the problem here, not Adam.

To add, I do find it weird that Kevin can advertise Adam's for poddamnit for like a month and Adam or none of his people notice anything about it. never saying "No it's not true, Adam can't come." But two days in advance they all of a sudden CAN call him to say "He's not coming."?

I find that pretty weird.

Both claim they're email box can prove they didn't (Kevin) and did (Adam) had an email exchange after the the call from Adam that they both were about to be signed.

It's simple, Adam did send an email, or he didn't, his sent email box can prove this. Kevin got an email or he didn't, unfortunately he couldve just as well (accidentally) deleted it.

If I were to see evidence of Adam indeed having sent word to Kevin after the call, I'm taking his side, which pains me, because I think Kevin rocks.

Kevin smith is the a hole listen to both sides of the story.Adam got no money with a signed contract,kevin got 400,or500thousand after the deal was over,the pilot never worked out any way.

I listened to both rants, mostly its bad communication, but Adam and leaving every thing up to his agents its lame.. They are both cool , but Adams gotta get with the times. Email is everything now a form of communication, tool

Listening to the podcast yesterday with both of them on it, it's just a question of 2 busy guys that have other things going on than to just be staying up at night thinking about this. It sounds like both of them wanted to do it (Kevin maybe a touch less because of the alienation of the gay contingent of his podcast audience). Both made attempts to contact the other to put it together. All it would have taken is a connector putting them into a room.
