check out arg´s controll over distance and timing.
at 00:05 he stops just right out of reach of ryus crouching forward and predicts it then slides perfectly on time!!!

Shooting D is one of the best RYU ever but he seems weak when he faces ARG. He has repeatedly lost to this CLAW legend. Gotoh's RYU seems to be much stronger against ARG

High ST play depends on pixel perfect spacing in general,the more vids you watch the more crucial you realise spacing is as a skill.
