Thunderbirds VS Thunderbirds

Thunderbirds from the original serie of Gerry Anderson VS Thunberbirds from the movie "Thunberdirds" made in 2004.

Just take a look on what happened with those Thunderbirds ...

Ok ok I know that I forgot T5 and The Mole, sorry about that ....

I just picked up some images from the originals ones and some images from the "new" ones with the same camera angle(for Thunderbird 1 and 2).

Of course I'm familiar with the series. Your assumption in the pm you sent to me was totally wrong. I was watching the original series back ion the 1960s when they first appeared on TV!

My point:

Why compare the two?

The original TV series on which the 2005 movie (which was crap by the way,) was based, was far better, and represented original content.

The movie was a flop and represented nothing but 45 years of possible evolution.

To Quote Mr. Gerry Anderson Himself, the 2004 Film was 'The Biggest Load of Crap I Have Ever Seen In My Life'. The 1960's TV Series was undeniably better than the 2004 Rubbish. Scott and Virgil said about Two Lines and The Machines were Destroyed. That's what I think anyway. Peace.

@lamplitbridge Taking the fact that the old Thunderbirds series was working with puppets in the 1960's into account, the old series had a) better effects (truly groundbreaking at the time--some of the effects invented for this series were later used in James Bond movies), b) better theme music, c) better machines, and d) better story lines that actually focused on the machines.

The new movie was just (barely) watchable. That's it.
