  • amazing originality/complexity in the music. 8 key changes using at least three different keys (Bb minor, Ab, Bb)... none of which are cliche changes... then the four bar lyric cycle in the outro sung over a three bar chord cycle. It brings to my mind that quote from Jaws where Quint says to Chief Brody while he's fighting the shark with rod and reel... "I don't know Chief... he's very smart or very dumb"

  • my god what a great bass line

  • He sounds like he does on CDs, no auto tune. He is a wonderful singer.

  • When you realize that song is like a Space oddity continuation...Both songs are a "Chef d'oeuvre" by themselves.

  • I've read all the comments......all completely spot on. Can music be so f....... good. I've always loved this song but what a version. Can you imagine a world without music like this.

  • @Brizzy55 Spot on mate...."musical genuis" is cliche, but this guy's fucking brillinant.

  • Thee bass in this version is thee shit!!

  • "Let's have a lovely evening" How could you not in Mr Bowie's company?

  • @quatlucius so true.

  • oh, gosh, thats a STINGRAY bass! explains the funky twangy sound.

  • IMO, this version kick's the studio version's ass.
