McCartney may well have played it in standard tuning but since when has there been only one way to play a song... I think it's cool in open G (though I play it t'other way..)

Hey Clitorus The open tune comment was a reply to someone who commented that it "it was done on a D28 in open g" I think he got the info from Wikipedia where it refers to an open string drone on the g string. You imbesiic moron
