The Mohua or Yellow Head are small native bush birds that live in The South island beech forests. Moving through the trees in noisey busy flocks . They now have become very rare and can only be found in a few locations . These were filmed in the Catlins forest .

  • Hi Mark . . .Thanks for watching the clip . . . The Yellow heads were filmed in a place called the Wisp valley . They are a very rare and protected species . This was my third visit to try and see and film them . So I was very pleased to get some footage although in my excitement it's abit all over the place .
