( smallmouth this day...with a 3 pound and a 2 pounder smally. Crankbaits..rebel and strike king blue and white ..the rebel was a chartruese. 5 or six crappies on a storm lure wild eyed long tail shad. Wayne Tammen with 3 crappies he caught and bass he released. He had just finished fishing after work. Vermillion River goes through Pontiac, Ill with 2 dams..1 on mill st and on on ladd st next to the Palamar. I plan on looking here on the river in Streator fro smallmouth too. Cant fish Streator dam..guess they had some problems there. I do know I going for the huge flatheads behind the armory in streator.
