To sell Beardsley in 91 was just shere madness. Definitely something wrong with Souness to change all these players too rapidly.

Nice one, Souness. You got rid of a player at his peak for only a million quid and instead, shelled out £2.9 million for a striker who had nowhere as much skill and grace as Beardsley. Souness should have also kept McMahon and Venison and bought better defenders. Mark Wright was very good in the air but someone was needed on the ground of the calibre of say Mark Lawrenson back in 1991.

At 2:15 Pedro is nowhere but by 2:21 - WTF! you can just see the whole back line open their mouths and swallow the whole thing, hook, line and sinker. i love the way he played football - all business, no show, just always delivering the goods and never bragging about it, just looking happy to be on the pitch. what a player. makes me proud to be a geordie.
