Steve Hazell is the Head Coach for Wing Chun Boxing & Fighting Arts in Kent. Steve feels through training in the fighting arts, people can become less aggressive but also confident enough not to fight just to protect a delicate ego, and if necessary, are well able to defend themselves in self defence using a realistic and effective system. In 2003, Steve began training in various grappling arts to further develop his skills. He now trains with Carlson Gracie Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Team and has gained a blue belt.
Steve is also a qualified Sports Therapist and Personal Fitness Trainer and a qualifed home-office approved standard instructor in Unarmed Defence Tactics, Baton Techniques and Quick Kuff, which also includes Conflict Resolution, he also teaches D.A.R.T defence and restraint tactics for the International Bodyguard Association. He maintains that he will always remain a student of martial arts himself, wanting to improve his own ability as much as possible and therefore continues to train with martial arts experts in specialist areas to further improve his abilities and experiences, to share with his students.
