Photo and video documentary of our journey to the Hawaii Ironman Triathlon in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, in 2010 (w/ additional footage from 2008). This imagery tells the story of my Mother's battle with Lou Gehrig's disease and how it intertwines with this event, and with the greater triathlon community's fundraising and awareness efforts started by its original ALS Warrior hero, Jon Blais. In this video are images of the World Championship race course as well as the striking beauty of the Big Island. Produced with CyberLink PowerDirector 9. Set to the song "Kings and Queens" by 30 Seconds to Mars.
