  • There's at least one man out there who claims John Waters's Pink Flamingos was better than this movie.

  • more perfect i never saw in my life! millions of stars to him!

  • @miskittt It is a truly amazing emotional experience, it is like nothing else in film i ever saw, his movies cannot simply be watched, the story line becomes completely irrelevant during much of this movie, you simply overcome with the emotional power of the images, the raw psychology of the movie exposes deeop seeded fears within all of us, it is hard to watch at times, it is pure art, it expresses so much with absolute minimum dialogue, it is truly minimalist and truly beautiful

  • Great trailer! It's a shame that Kari Sylwan was overshadowed by the other well known stars for she carried the movie all the way to the end. She should of had a better career in movies.

  • @dorontsur I've been trying to figure that out myself for the last 15 minutes! I think it's something by Godspeed You Black Emperor. It definitely has that sound but i'm not sure which song.

  • does anyone know the name of the song & performer on 1:27 min throughout?

  • What year was this made?

  • Why? That is one of the worst put questions I have ever heard. Art never has whys, and even less so when it is made with intuition and deep sensibility. This kind of movies make people sleepy when they are insensible to real art. The colors of the film, the rithm it has, the way it is written and the issues it treats are logical answers; the real one is that it is just beautiful. If you don´t like it, you should stick to "fun" movies. Bergman is true filmmaking brilliance.

  • @miskittt There is no simple answer. The same as for any work of art.

  • @Karosanyo Thank you. My son saw it when he was only 16 and it is one of his favorites. I thought it was just okay. I'm glad I wasn't sleepy.
