Pride, a Rhodesian Ridgeback rescue, learns to find "front." This was Pride's first time in a new location and only his second time adding a sit. HIs ridge is like a big target showing if he's straight or crooked, so we'd better practice this one a lot. :-) We free-shaped
this behavior using Sue Ailsby's instructions in the Levels Book. You can find the instructions here - http://www.sue-eh.ca/page10/page9/styled-3/ I think Sue's method for teaching fronts is genius! No prompts, props or body language to fade.

Now that he understands position, we will work on response time for getting to front and then for sitting. He's on his way, though. :-)
