@roguegamingpc Usually they have a cutout on the PCB to make a tunnel for the air to flow but surprisingly I don't see one on this board.
Still the PSU requirements for 4 way sli on these is just crazy. 12 6 pin connectors...and 2 power supplies is the only logical way to make this stable.

@R4Zy3L It's still more surface area to dissipate heat and the airflow in your case will help with that...same as the aluminum shroud all the way around the card or the backplate they sell for the 470/465s. It all gets heated up by the components and cooled by the air in your case. With decent airflow in a case it could be a couple degrees C drop easily.

3 6 pins are crazy on one with 1gb of gddr3. Even if you were overclocking.

How dose that heatsink on the back of the card provide additional cooling if the fan has a cover that blocks it from pulling air from that heatsink?
