@MRRWJ2 Hold on! The Soviet Union (English abbrivation is USSR, Union of the Socialist Soviet Republics; and the Russian abbrivation is CCCP, Сою́з Сове́тских Социалисти́ческих Респу́блик) consisted of many republics. Russia was only one of them, though the biggest of them all. It would be similar to say that Washington state and United States are the same thing =)

This dialog/acting totally beats the shit out of any high budget big name shit that EA can rush out to get a half assed product on the shelves. Its dark. And deep, and the subtle Kane appearances keeps you guessing/playing until the end of the campaign.

I have a few old Soviet bookd (from the 1970's) at home. The language they use, especially when they talk about history or politics is very much like Stalin's in this video.
Interestingly, Stalin is not mentioned in those books at all. At that time period, the cult of his personality was denounced. Talking about him positively was condiered to be an expression of "bad taste" (and could possibly get you in trouble).
