What have we learned in 2,064 years? "The budget should be balanced, the treasury should be refilled, public debt should be reduced, the arrogance of officialdom should be tempered and controlled, and the assistance to foreign lands should be curtailed lest Rome become bankrupt. People must again learn to work, instead of living on public assistance." Cicero - 55 BC
Big government healthcare will not relieve cost to taxpayers. Government healthcare will evolve into the boondoggle every other government program turns into. Inflated prices, inefficent buracracy. Sen Kohl, are you aware of the condition of social security, medicare, medicaid, the post office? Do you not see the disaster you and your cohorts create every time you invade our lives? Vote against this Mr. Kohl.
Who are you to decide how much we can spend on healthcare? Its private citizens money. I think we need to spend more. What better thing to spend money on than saving lives? If you want reform, improve competition in the PRIVATE sector. Make it easier for me to buy my own insurance. The solution is not to hand over everything to an incompetent bureaucracy in Washington!
You are the richest person in the U.S. Senate Mr. Kohl so why don't you pay for all of us!
