@Jaref A lot of popular stuff get a lot of hate. I don't care, to me this game deserves the praise. My favorite FF game yet is FFIX closely followed by VII (but I haven't finished the game yet so it might change), and X will always have a special place in my heart because it was my first. And I'm definitely going to play VI and VIII. In fact, I think I'll play every main game in the series. I love FF a lot. I think it is slowly starting to become my favorite video game series.

Good to hear that you're giving the series a chance and that you're enjoying the game. FFVII gets a lot of hate for no reason at all. People forget what a masterpiece it was for its time. I highly recommend FFVI and FFVIII as well =)

@Jaref Lol yeah. I love Aerith so I'm glad, too bad she dies. I love the game so far. I think it has aged pretty well aside from the graphics (which I don't mind). It must have been a mind blowing game back then. Too bad I missed it, I just started playing the series and I've only played FF9 and 10 yet.

False hope. That's the thing about FF7, everyone was like "O I see where this is going, love story". Then she drops dead. Most emotional gaming moment of all time.

The genius thing about the final fantasy 7 soundtrack is the fact that there is a song for every mood, unfortunately as a child you never embrase it properly, i only ever used to listen to the cooler tunes when i was 5, it wasnt till i turned 17 that i could understand the meaning of these melodys... i always used to think this tune was gay, but now its like my favorite from the game, as it just relates to my life so much
