Evy's POV
A few weeks later Joe and the guys had gone on tour again, He had tried to get Emily to see him but she wouldnt give in. I got a call from Kevin telling me that he and Nick had a surprise for me but I had to go to L.A to get it. I was a little hesitant at first but they told it would be worth it, I left the girls with Grandma and Shane and I headed for L.A. I had no clue what it was going to be. All I knew was it was big. Big Rob picked us up at the airport and no matter how much I begged he would not tell me a thing. When we arrived at our destination, there were fans everywhere. I was actually shocked that they asked for my autograph. I realised that we were outside the Gibson Amphitheatre.
Big Rob whats going on? I asked as I linked Shanes arm moving my way through the crowed.
Cant tell that Evy, youll find out soon enough He opened the door for us and I instantly heard the boys rehearsing. Big Rob led us to the front of the stage. When Nick saw me, he instantly stopped playing and hopped off the stage to greet us.
Im glad you made it, he said as he wrapped his arms around me hugging me tightly.
What is going on? I asked as I pulled away.
We want you to sing I heard Joe say. I looked at him in shock W-What? I stammered, Joe hoped off the stage and came towards us We want you to sing, you deserve it he had a smile on his face that I had not seen in a long time, it reminded me of the Joe he used to be. Come on he said as he took my hand and led me up to the piano. So I was looking around the house a little while ago and I found your old song book, he gestured for me to sit at the piano ... and after hearing you sing that day at your grandmothers house... I realised what I had taken away from you, so I talked to Kevin and Nick and we came up with the idea for you to sing with us at The Friends for Change benefit concert I was shocked beyond belief.
I looked over at Kevin and Nick and they both had please do this looks on their faces. Shane gave me a smile of encouragement. I didnt even think it through, I just said yes. I looked at Joe, I felt so confused... I was grateful but I couldnt help but feel like he was up to something. I had to perform in front of the executives first. I decided to sing an easy song that I wrote for Shane when Joe and I first started having problems. I wrote out the music and gave it to the band, I was on the piano.
Suppose I called you up tonight and told you that I loved you

And suppose I cried and said "I think I finally learned my lesson"
