@SlackerSlayer Arrested development is a great comedy with no laugh track. It's always Sunny in Philadelphia isn't bad either, but it's a lot less sophisticated, so maybe depends on taste. Too bad AD got canceled.

The laugh tracks. It was part of my reason for tuning out of prime time garbage back in the 70s. A sister told me about a show I should watch, "it's hilarious" she says. So I tune into one, it opens and a guy is looking at his cell phone (or similar) and without doing anything but looking at the screen, there's at least three outbursts of laughter from that machine. I could only imagine why.

@MsHojat I really didn't mean to turn this into a discussion about iTunes, but all I'm gonna say is I can tell the difference, and I don't like the way digital downloads of compressed audio are taking over and becoming the standard. It's getting harder and harder to find stuff on CD, and they will be obsolete pretty soon because most people don't care about quality, and I think that sucks.
