@felixthecatboy AND DTS 5.1 Master Audio! Not sure how much of an improvement that'll be since in the credits it states Moroder recorded the whole thing on a Sony PCM-3324 which maxes out around 48kHz @ 16-bits... and if I recall that's precisely what comes out of the optical line on the laserdisc release... but it's nice to finally support the artist!

I've always thought of this scene as showing one of the screen's greatest acts of evil. His father turns this figure of innocence and hope into a whore, perverting and degrading her image for the amusement of the upper class. It justifies Freder's nightmarish fever dream, a prophecy of death. Plus, great music by Moroder and Mercury. There's nothing LOLZ about it! And I can't imagine the kind of unthinking ignorance that would point and laugh at such a masterpiece.

Well, I happen to think this is marvellous, but to each his own I guess! Thanks very much for posting, good quality clips of this are hard to come by and sure beats my worn-out VHS copy. I wonder if you could post the first twenty minutes of the film, from the title synopsis to the M-Machine blowing up? :)
