OMG I am forever amazed at critics of anything who claim racisim right out of any starting gate. Such frivilous accusations demean those folks who have legitimate complaints based on discrimination. My experience is that those who immediately jump on the race bandwagon without due caution are themselves racist or just looking for excuses. It is an insult to the memory of Dr. King and other activists of color to compare Dr. King to a thug like Eugene Hudson. UnionsRule--is that you on the tape, bleating like the rest of Hudson's sheep? If Hudson was a gentleman, he wouldn't have assaulted TJ Bonner and voluntarily excused himself from the convention. Hudson is classless and so are his apologist minions. My brothers and sisters in Dt 12 deserve better!

Leon' diatribe comments below is absurd. The facts are the facts, about what happened on the convention floor at the Grand Sierra in Reno. NVP Hudson is a gentleman and a fine union leader that keeps on getting elected by his critics. Critics also gave this treatment to Dr. Martin Luther King.

The video contains misleading and false information about NVP Eugene Hudson, and I believe its slander. I was a witness to the so called incident. At best, it was a verbal exchange, not a physical exchange over a chair. Many witnesses around me saw no choke at all by NVP Hudson with Mr. TJ Bonner. The video is hogwash. The law enforcement group surrounding TJ contained no Blacks and these guys were very disruptive, and acted and dressed, like a gang. Fact is TJ was expelled from the event.
