This is the commissioning oath given to United States Marine Corps Officer Candidate School Class 197 Alpha Company on 28 March 2008 by Brigadier General Andrew W. O'Donnell Jr, USMC at the National Museum of the Marine Corps located just outside Quantico, VA.
Did anyone notice that he missed the part? "that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same"

I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God.
Nothing like the sound of brand new Lieutenants reciting the officer oath in perfect unison

If you are an OCC graduate, you will commission at the MC Museum with the rest of your company. However, if you are a PLC guy, you will commission upon graduating college at home at a location of your choice with your OSO.
