I love this show.. its my guilty pleasure!! I love Shakira -- and his song is just awesome. It fits with this show too.. if you choose to think of the she wolf as a witch.. then it makes perfect sense :D anyways.. Its on ABC at 10 on Wednesday and you should watch it. I did a quick search on yt for Eastwick videos.. and I can't find any.. so I will give you guys a quick low down on the background of the show :D
It stars Lindsay Price (Lipstick Jungle), Rebecca Romijn (Ugly Betty) & Jaime Ray Newman (General Hopsital). It takes place in Eastwick (based on the Updike Novel Witches of Eastwick:D) and it is centered around three women, Joanna, Roxie & Kat, who are slowly finding out that they are witches. It all starts when a mysterious man comes into town and starts causing trouble.. i don't want to give to much away.. but he is certainly a shady character.. now quick little bios on the three leading ladies :D
Joanna is a writer for the town paper... where she has never really been taken seriously. She is super obsessed with the papers photographer, Will. Towards the end of the first episode (i believe..) she learns that she can .. how to say this, bend a mans will with her eyes -- she can make men do whatever she wants if they look directly into her eyes.
Kat is a nurse and mother of 5? kids. Her husband Raymond was her high school sweetheart... and he's a total deadbeat. She goes back and forth throughout the first few episodes on whether or not to divorce him..certainly they are separated. She has the power of mother nature -- she accidentally electrocutes her husband, causes a little mini earthquake and can gets some awesome butterflies to come out :D ohh and.. there was this really sweet scene when her and her husband were swimming and she got all upset and the pool froze around them ..
Roxie is a widow and a mother of a teenage girl. She is dating a younger man.. the guy from Kyle XY actually. She's super feisty and owns some sort of art store. She has been having psychic visions.. one of which involves her being buried alive :( ooh and whatever she wishes comes true.. the kid who tried to rape her daughter accidentally hung himself in the town square :(
so.. anyways -- I encourage all of you watch the show.. its on hulu! :D comments & ratings appreciated as always :D
