THIS IS NOT A HATEFUL OR SLANDEROUS VIDEO.
Agnes Gonxha Bojaxhiu ('Mother' Teresa) has been hailed the world over as an unsurpassed savior of the world's destitute.
In this video, broadcast on the BBC in 1994, however, Christopher Hitchens places the Roman Catholic nun, her ideology, and her activities under the microscope, and questions whether she deserved the praise she received.
Neither did I produce this video, nor do I own the copyright to it.

Tens of millions of dollars and not an aspirin for the poor.

She got the best of medical care for herself, barely an aspirin for the poor.

@1234poppycat Hell I was assured this was authentic ... but i have seen counter claims -- anyway just look in your own community -- who cares about the less fortunate -- it is more likely to be people of faith

@1234poppycat Dont mistake her humility and politeness even to dictators as an acceptance of their methods. If you are against her on this web site you might like to know who you are supporting 1 Bigots - who spread lies about the Pope and misquote bible readings to strangely come to the conclusion that the Pope is the antiChrist 2 Bigots who try to convince that child abuse is common amongst priests.. And yes I know they are bigots as I have gone on their pages and links.

@lilmissmachiavelli you need to understand that minor transgressions - and even with the Duvalier case you do not know what was said privately - does not negate a lifetime of personal sacrifice and dedication to the poor. The British convert to Catholicism, the intellectual, writer and broadcaster Malcome Mugerage was the first to stumble across her and publicise her work. She did not seek publicity until decades later to fund and publicise the needs of the poor. .

@1234poppycat Bill Gates finished a talk to high school students (entitled "eleven rules") with "... If you can read this thank a teacher. ... If you can read this in English thank a Soldier. ...And for life and everything else you have .... Thank God " I think you have made my point for me. People with faith go the extra mile to help others, are generally more willing to actively care for others and the world would be a more selfish & miserable place without them

@lilmissm"Just to correct you English" 1/ I know what a bigot is. I don't know you and you will find I did not call you a bigot 2/ Again I did not say lack of religion makes one evil. 3/ You imply Bill Gates is not religious "Lack of religion doesn't make one evil, Bill Gates"". He is "religious"
