I agree with Maynard, I sure as hell am not going to worship you after the shit you've done to me, but I respect your decision to keep praising him after he fucks you over.

@Zatinum The song is questioning not preaching. That's why music is subjective just as any other art form. You're right then that's fine but don't go chastising people because they choose to have other beliefs or choose to listen to this kind of music. Personally, no one really gives a shit what you think because you don't really state a legitimate argument. You're just being a douchebag.

Do some research into quantum physics. You'll find things are far too complex to be by accident. As far as proof goes...tha'ts like me saying 'prove there isn't one.'

I believe in God..Don't see how he'd leave us to this ourselves though. If we are as children then he's a bad parent, wouldn't you say? When it comes right down to it...I just don't think he's the heartless asshole the scriptures make him out to be.If Hell is where I"m headed then okay. Not sure I'd like to be praising the king if he is that way.I'll take my chances as a man.

@whitelight7733 I think the song is more of him questioning why his mother still had faith even though she suffered unjustly. It's not like she killed anyone, or drove a spear of hate into his side. I think it is a beautiful piece of music that could inspire people to hold their own faith. Especially to people that are enduring their own hardships.
