All you need these days to be deemed a "rapper" is a fast voice. Lyrics dont matter in this society anymore. I wish it weren't that way, but its true. As long as you say "nigga" every 5 seconds and talk about drugs, alcohol, and women (also known as "bitches" in said songs), you'll be popular.

@jazzer741 i don't hate Em, Tech or Yelawolf, I'm a fan of all 3 actually. The issue I have comes when hip-hop becomes about the money and fame instead of doing it for the sake of making some good god damn music. If you become successful as an artist then that's great, but when I see emcee's spitting about how much money they make and how many cars they own, it defeats the purpose of the music. Hip-hop was never about nice cars and tons of cash, quite the opposite actually.
