Malcolm Gladwell is one of the foremost public intellectuals of our time. His stock in trade is in overturning ideas about how humans make decisions, how social movements gain momentum (or don't), and how we relate to other people. A staff writer at The New Yorker since 1996, Mr. Gladwell is the author of four best-selling books: "The Tipping Point," "Blink," "Outliers," and "What the Dog Saw." He was in Vancouver, B.C., in April 2010, to speak about innovation and the limitations of social media at F5 Expo (http://is.gd/bNaCa). Before the conference, BCBusiness digital editor John Bucher had a few minutes to speak with Mr. Gladwell. This is their conversation.
