TSUNAMI WARNING - Hawaii Saturday, February 27, 2010 Part TWO

Part two shows our civil defense, police, and fire depaprtment doing their work to clear the beaches and roads of the homeless, as well as traffic in and out of the danger zone.

Boat owners take their boat out of the harbor to more than two miles out to sea. The safest place to be during a tsunami is in the deep ocean.

After the all clear is given, Island residents as well as our tourist go back to their normal lives and their vacation.....

@kittylover6201 The tsunami turned out to be tidal surges, which was lucky for all of us. But this video shows how prepared we are in case the real thing should happen.

Would I still make another video? Of course! We actually have a time frame which is amazingly accurate. I had about three hours before the first wave came, and two hours before I decided to leave the coast line.

@123TauruZ321 TRICKING people? YOU think this video is made to trick people? You live in NORWAY and surrounded by water too. I am sure Norway is quite safe from eathquakes and tsunami, while we living in Hawaii is surrounded my seismic activity as well as the world's most active volcano: Kilauea. Erupting for more than 25 years stright and still going strong!

@Jadely100 We DID have a legitimate tsunami warning, in case you had forgotton the news back then. The earth shift did cause a tsunami, but THANKFULLY NOT a large one that devastated and killed tens of thousands in Asia a few years back. There is no way scientists can judge the size of a tsunami. The one headed our way was deamed a warning, and we in Hawaii took every precaution no mater what size or if it turned out a false warning. This video showed the world how prepared we are!
