1:25 is awesome. I wasn't born until 1989 but I got this video as a gift from my aunt when I was 7 or 8 and it instantly turned me into an Oilers fan. The last true NHL dynasty, the Red Wings have been a fantastic team for two decades, but they haven't been anywhere near as dominant as the Oilers.

23 years later you look back and see how special this Oiler team really was. The talent on one team and their ability to work together. One of a kind in the NHL. In professional sports there are maybe 3-4 teams of all time that can rival this Oiler team for greatness.

Hey Mittsie, love the footage, i just had a question for ya..Tom McMurchy is a good friend of mine and he was trying to find game footage from SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 12TH 1987, the oilers were @MSG where tom was awarded first star. Hockey Night in Canada wanted OR it could of been some MSG broadcasters, not to sure but, Sather denied the interview live on T.V...Anyways, would you know where i could get that vintage game ?

I have no idea. This video is the bonus content on the DVD for "Boys On The Bus". I bought it at the Hockey Hall Of Fame gift shop in Toronto.
