NJMP Lightning Course 2010 - WKA Unlimited 2 Enduro Kart Race

WKA National Enduro Series Race at New Jersey Motorsports Park (NJMP) in September of 2010. This was the onboard camera during the Unlimited 2 race. Our class uses enduro "laydown" style karts with two 100cc Controlled 2 cycle engines at minimum 465 lbs (driver and kart) with centrifugal axle clutches. This is typical B-Stock class rules. Other karts allowed in this class are 250cc 2 cycle Superkarts (450cc 4 strokes also allowed), 125cc shifters in both laydown and situp style, Formula 125, etc. Basically, all the fastest classes combined together. Max speed in this video is 121 mph. These karts with two 125 cc motors are capable of speeds neighboring 150 mph +/- at other faster speedways.

Video as taken from the WKA (World Karting Association) kart race held by the Woodbridge Kart Club as their national event at NJMP (New Jersey Motorsports Park) in 2010. We ran the Lightning Course at our event this year. The class being filmed is Unlimited 2 with a B-Stock, an enduro laydown style go kart with two 100cc engines. Each engine is mounted on the side near the driver's shoulders. Karting road race events are held much like other roadrace series events both domestic and worldwide in that they are endurance timed events. Ours, in this instance, are 30 minutes in length.
