Sense and Sensibility: Willoughby's Regret- Anywhere But Here

When I learned the first challenge in "Next Jane Austen Vidder" contest was to take one of Austen's cads and make him a good guy, I knew I would go straight for Willoughby! One of the best scenes in the book- though it's not in the film- is his apology scene to Elinor while Marianne is sick, so I had to choose him. LadyKate also gave us songs to choose from and the first time I heard this one, I LOVED it! I had to cut it down due to time constraints but the entire song is wonderful! The vid is basically Willoughby remembering his time with Marianne. I kept things simple here, with mostly fades and movement but there are a few overlays and I used a layering on the second "You're beautiful" to emphasize the crescendo of the singing there. Also, I created a reverse section near the end to show how Willoughby wishes he could erase all his mistakes. I hope that looks okay! Finally, he rides off to his wife (on a white horse no less!) to dedicate himself to her.
