68 Pontiac GTO Car Craft Dyno Challenge 7/17/09

68 GTO on the dyno at 2009 Car Craft Nationals. Car made 488HP and 454FTlb torque. This burgundy GTO is equipped with a 455, 72cc Edelbrock heads, and a NOS shot I forgot how much. TH400 with 4.11 posi. Sounded great through open headers. Owned by a nice guy from southern Minnesota.

Just as the 57 Chevy has remained a classic in it's looks even now...these years of the goats will always be eye-catchers. The fact that it is also one bad ass runner don't hurt either!!

It's a 455 with ported Edelbrock heads, not sure on the cam, runs mid 11's on the motor, 10.80's on the bottle. Turbo 400 trans.
