Learning to Give: A Family Academy Activity

It is important children learn to give, and do so with a cheerful heart. The benefits of giving are profound in that it can change another person's life, and that it can provide a feeling of joy for the giver. There are many charities, and non profit organizations you can teach your children about, going into detail as to how they work. This Family Academy activity provides an opportunity for you and your child to engage in the act of giving - an experience the two of you will remember always.

This Family Academy activity, titled, "The Little Philanthropist," was filmed on location in Portland, Oregon at the Multnomah Arts Center, and stars Pamela Ellgen. The video was produced by Goops Unlimited, directed by Nicholas Beatty, and edited by Rob Sisk.
