Today on this 2008 Kia Sedona we are going to install part number 118410 from Tow Ready. The first steps involved is get into the back of the vehicle, pull up the hatch, and then get to the fasteners that hold the tail lights in place. We have got three fasteners to remove and then pop the light off. Now we will disconnect the tail lights from the wire harness. Push down this little tab and this connector will come apart. Now we will go over to the passenger side of the vehicle and do the same thing one more time. 00:36

We are going to start working on the install now with the T-One connector. First we will take our 4-pole wiring harness and we are going to it down below and pull it out below the bumper. Next we are going to remove this little plastic screw right here just to give us a little working room so we can have a nice place to hide our module. There is barely enough room but I think we can install our module. Attach it to the sheet metal behind the bumper cover. We will leave it like that for now. 01:07

We are going to take one half of the T-One connector with the green and red wires and we are going to go down below just like we did before. The next thing we can do is plug the T-One harness into the factory harness. We will set that to the side for now and we will take our white ground wire and attach it to the sheet metal right here. The next wire we are going to deal with is a black wire, a 10 gauge wire that will be ran up to the battery up front on the vehicle. Again we will this through and pull it out through the bottom. The other end of this wire will attach to the red wire here for the module. We are going to use a butt connector to connect everything together. Since this is going to be sitting outside lets wrap some tape around it. Put the little plastic rivet back into place and then we can reinstall our tail light. To help hide our wire as it goes across the back of the vehicle we are going to remove these plastic rivets here. One, two, three, four of them to go across. There are metal brackets that the bumper fascia attaches to and we are going to stick the wire between those two pieces. 02:39
