But how big is it really? like 3 pounds or what? here in Germany, chips bags are normally 200 grams, according to some online converter that equals 7.05479 oz.

haha, it's actually 700 grams- nearly 2 pounds. Here in America we indulge in our large portions, laugh at German baby portions and then die young of heart failure. It's the American way my friend.
