A tangia is a dish traditionally cooked by men, it is a specialty dish of Marrakesh, it must be cooked in the ashes of the fires that burn underneath the city's hammams. Traditionally the man of the house will prepare the Tangia in the morning, drop it off at the neighborhood bathhouse on his way to work and pick it up several hours later on his way home. /
Tangia est un plat traditionnellement cuit par des hommes, c'est une spécialité de Marrakesh, il doit être cuit dans les cendres des feux qui brûlent au-dessous de hammams de la ville. Traditionnellement l'homme de la maison prépare la Tangia le matin, la laisse cuir dans les bains publics de voisinage en allant travailler et passe la récupérer plusieurs heures plus tard en rentrant à la maison./

    It's from DJ Cheb Sabbah " Sadats Saints of Marrakesh".

    The first part is recorded in the middle of Jammaa El fna ( the famous town square in Marrakesh).

  • salam c est bien de faire un peu de pub aux plats de cuisine marocaine mais cette recette du tanjia c est une peu creative car ya adjonction des epices qu on utilise aux ragot pour la tanjia ya ke le sel cumin en grain ras el hanout facultatif et bie sur huile et sme et un ever d eau sasn oublier l ail et le citron confit et bien sur le rois des epices le safran

    je te felicite encor une fois pour ton plats
