  • musicians of that time would probably be disgusted by rap

  • Waging war was not invented by Europeans! Their increasing industrialization merely allowed for more devastating weaponry: machine guns, tanks, planes, larger cannons, gas; along w mass-production. WWI did eliminate the old monarchies which were largely responsible for WWI: A/H, Russia, and Germany. There's a lot of talk of how war-like this or that country is, but remember, it's not the citizens as much as the imperialistic-minded leaders, not just the monarchies but in France and UK also.

  • Many of the tactics of WWI came out of our civil war, all the European powers had observers here watching the battles evolve. The advances in weaponry, notably the Maxim machine gun made the carnage worse.

  • @jrdnjstn Nothing great about war machines..

  • @MrSuperDisclaimer What was so great about it was that it was a war revolution, it had new stuff it revolutionized war by tactics weapons and vehicles, gas, airplanes, tanks, trench warfare, automatic machine guns, automatic rifles, tanks, long range cannons instead of cheap civil war era cannons!

  • The great war... What's so great about it?

  • name of song pls

  • whats the song called !? Please reply!

  • Lol, incompetent fools, bashing rap on a classical music video. Can't praise this music without bashing some other kind of music. Get yourself some balls, learn to love all music...even though mainstream rap is fucking shit.

  • @sandythebear Yeah I know. My dad's friend Byron, his uh, grandpa or his great uncle or something or other, I forget, was a bugle boy. WW1 saw the end of marching bands going into combat, and so did he. He said a shell blew up in front of him, and the head of some dude who was ahead of him came tumbling past. You know, in this internet age, people don't realize just how short 100 years really is, but when you could have known someone who was in a marching band in combat, it really hits home.

  • @ChrisMathers3501 Whole lotta good guys who never got to grow up due to war.

  • @sandythebear If I was a musician of that time, I think I'd be more disgusted with the generals and politicians who "lost" a whole generation by throwing them at the enemy trench's machine gun nests then a style of music invented 70 years down the line. And you never know - my dad is SIXTY and even he likes Eminem.
