The first memory Squall had of Aeris was her eyes; unblinking green staring deep into his soul. He wasn't one for dance-- in fact he couldn't dance-- but somehow she didn't seem to mind and she playfully guided him through the steps. His soldier-like hands gently brushed against her soft flower-scented body.

Aeris hated fighting. She hated the war. She hated that ugly scar across Squall's face. But she loved him the moment he clumsily danced with her. And though Aeris saw fireworks in his eyes and felt tenderness in his embrace, Squall was still a soldier about to leave to war. And so she ran away.

THIS WAS THE BEST SQUALL-DANCING-WITH-SOMEONE-OT­HER-THAN-RINOA VIDEO EVER. AND THE REST OF IT TOO. my favourite part was when Squall was like fails and Aerith was like shakes head and it was like OMGADORABLE.
