this is a response for my recent cover video i did of this song an to all who have been having trouble finding tabs online for this song. not sure if the chords are offically right but it sounds right to me but ethier way this is my verison an i find it easier.

This is wrong... its not half step tunning.. if you listen some of the notes in the intro are clearly open strings and your playing them not open.. you have to make it a weird tunning that silverstein just made up .

this is a pretty good tutorial, but the chords, beginning at about 3:50 aren't completely accurate.  If you watch the band play it live on youtube, you'll see he is not playing the chords that high on the neck. He is using a different voicing. Also, I think that although tuning is 1/2 step down, he is leaving the low E tuned to E, so he can play that riff during the chorus.
